Saturday morning. Perfect sunny morning. Made a french creation breakfast for dear dear.
Followed by a show of Darkest hour in funshion. Did not like this kinda show, always make u feel like the world is ending.
Then we went in JB to Chuan Xin guo tiao.
Its a nice and pleasant place for a perfect lunch. We ordered the famous abalone guo tiao, omg, the guo tiao is damn Q! Just like magic! Service was good and waiters are polite. Not long after, the rain started to pour heavily.... Dear says wait for the rain to get smaller then we leave. I was like, alright..
Just as i was about to start day dreaming, the rain got heavier and keeps on splashing in. Therefore the staff closed the shutters so that customers can eat in peace instead of getting wet. In a split second, the shutters burst!
As you know, Singaporeans have no experience of natural disasters at all, and they do not like to behave like 'kiasu'. Therefore, me and dear are still glued to our seats. And actually, we do not know how to react either, and didn't know this kinda thing will actually happen to us.
All we did was just hide our head lower facing the wall.
Then we heard thuds like as if the shop has exploded! Within just one second, we turned to see, and the whole shop was like, gone.
Everything starts to fly around due to the strong wind caused by the monsoon rain. Looks like a tsunami.
Glasses on shelves broke into pieces and there's lotsa glasses on the floor.
I shouted to dear, what to do now! And im so afraid that if we run, what if something flew to me and cut my body and i die? lol.
Everything is in chaos, everybody starts running for their lives. Then dear says go!go!go! i was so afraid i will fall to the ground as its full of glasses.
And we ran to the back kitchen. luckily, that place looks safer.
I couldn't stop crying, and shivering. Totally went into a shock. I didn't wanna die yet.
Seriously, there's so many things i have not completed yet. How can i die just like this.?
The scenario happens so fast and loud like explosion i couldn't get it off my mind.
Even after hours later we went to KSL to watch battleship, i still have flashes of the incident.
And i just couldn't concentrate at all.
